Last Friday, 19 pallets stacked high with AirDoctor Medical-grade H13 UltraHEPA Filters arrived at our facilities center. Earlier this week, our Facilities Department was hard at work unpackaging and prepping the units. Now, their team is installing these units across campus, starting with 110-coded classrooms that are deemed most appropriate.
This effort is a direct result of the feedback that President Pastides and I received at the last Faculty Senate meeting and is another added measure to our university’s COVID-19 mitigation plan. These systems are proven to capture 100% of particles as small as .003 microns and have tested effective at removing 99.99% of a COVID-19 surrogate virus.
